our mission:

Medical care is often not within the reach of the poor.  They die from preventable illnesses that could be treated inexpensively.  Many women birth at home on dirt floors, unattended by anyone. In addition, many people suffer from oppression and abuse.  The difficult circumstances in which they live often cause them to lose hope.

We care for the health and physical needs of the poor and underprivileged.  As we work to bring improvement to their lives, we have the opportunity to share God's love in a profoundly tangible way.  Join us as we work to help those in need.

 We can make a difference!!!

IMPROVE

Promoting safe healthcare practices not only saves lives, it improves the standard and quality of living for the under-privileged.

Global Health Training

Education

People in remote locations need basic health care education that will enable them to improve their lives and better care for their people.

birth Kits

We can reduce maternal & neonatal mortality & morbidity by supplying clean birth kits.  These kits help prevent the infections that many women & babies die from each year.

EMPOWER

This enables communities to better care for their own people.  Their efforts are muliplied by teaching their children and local community members to carry on the practices they learn.

Global Health Training is a (501)c3 non-profit corporation founded in 2004 for the purpose of improving maternal and neonatal outcomes by educating and providing resources for Mothers, Families, Communities, Childbirth Attendants & Health Care Professionals.  We joined with Global Training Network in 2012 to increase the effectiveness of our efforts. GTN is a fully acredited member of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (EFCA).  We have worked in Mexico, Honduras, Uganda, India, & Haiti teaching safe healthcare practices and empowering leaders.

WE HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO SAVE LIVES AND IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR FAMILIES IN REMOTE COMMUNITIES BY TAKING BASIC BIRTH SUPPLIES AND EDUCATION INTO THEIR VILLAGES AND COMMUNITIES.

ENABLE

Education empowers men and women in remote communities.  Most people do not have access to information that we take for granted.  We can make a significant difference by teaching basic healthcare principles.

supplies

Supplies will help community health care workers ability to provide safe & effective care for both mothers and babies in remote locations.
